How it works
$500 will be allocated to a purse from each breeding from each eligible BVSS Stallion. The purse is for foals competing in either the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity or the NCHA World Championship Futurity!
Brazos Valley Stallion Station is excited to announce a fresh, innovative and inclusive stallion incentive program that will include the participation of all eligible stallions who are managed by BVSS during the 2022 breeding season. The program is called “The Brazos Valley Stallion Station Super Stallion Incentive”. This program is designed to support an added purse to the Finals of the Open Division of the NRCHA World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity and the Finals of the Open, Non-Pro and Amateur Divisions of the NCHA World Championship Futurity for every 2022 3-year-old sired by an eligible BVSS stallion who was managed at the farm during the 2022 breeding season. Unlike other incentive programs whose purse follows the mare’s foal in utero or the weanling, this innovative new program will have a more immediate effect. Next year’s 3-year-olds sired by 2022 BVSS stallions will enjoy a large purse supplement straight away as the funds to add to these 2022 futurity final’s purses will be collected in the same year from a portion of each 2022 stud fee paid. The BVSS stallion owners have made the unique and powerful decision to reinvest their dollars in support of the cow horse and cutting horse industries for the betterment of those who have supported their stallions. It is their plan to carry this plan on into the foreseeable future in support of these performance horse disciplines.
